I made a video addon for the tech site Hak5 (http://www.hak5.org). The videos are from the shows Hak5, Haktik, Threatwire, Tekthing, Pineapple University and Metasploit.

It's available as a video addon in the official kodi repo for kodi 17 (krypton) and up. So you can install it as a video addon: HOW-TO:Install_add-ons (wiki)
If you got problems with the addon, just reply here with a link to a kodi log file (here are the instructions to make a logfile with kodi: http://kodi.wiki/view/Log_file/Easy ).

Very new to this site..joined today..so please don't trash me yet..I am willing to read and try and understand the inner working of the forum. Could someone suggest where I would look on the forum for working repos and what video addons are good for movies and tvs hows....I guess I have been spoiled by my buddy telling me which one to use and which addon was best....I want to learn for myself and contribute..so any help would be appreciated in pointing me in the right direction..sorry if this is posted in wrong thread area...

Can somebody help
Installed kodi several times always the same problem, when i go to add ons & type the url in, give it a name, screen comes up saying "coudnt retrieve directory information. This could be due to the network not being connected. Would you like to add it anyway?"
But i am connected to the internet other devices working. Please help. Chris

inputstream adaptive building addon help! [Windows]
Weird that there is no thread on this addon? It's the official addon of Kodi?
To my subject. Trying to compile Kodi Agile (18) and include inputstream adaptive (agile branch) with it, buuuuuut for Windows since I'm not to interested in Linux. Already managed to build the whole thing in Ubuntu easy enough. However I don't find it as easy with Windows. Easy to create an installer, but how do I include the addon Inputstream Adaptive to it?
I've noticed and it was the same for Ubuntu that I need to compile the kodi-platform as well. However I fail to understand how to properly compile this. Hence I can't compile the addon itself.

HDHomeRun Add one that works with older devices?
It seems that new HDHomeRun app in Kodi does not support older devices (like HDHR3-US). And Kodi team have also cut previously supported HDHomeRun protocol in favor of new HDHomeRun app.
