addon zip file

Hi,

I wonder if anyone can help, I have a zip file addon that I have on a shared file server that I want to access through kodi,
I have gone to the normal file manager and add source and put the url address of the fileserver.

Something like this http://test.webhop.org/repo

And I have the repo zip file in the repo folder.
The source adds and if I go into addons and install from zip, the file path is there what I named it but when I click on it there is nothing there.

Am I doing something wrong??

Can somebody help please??
