Ive been a long time user of kodi since the xbmp days, but the past few years have been getting worse
I know on your main page you state it puts ' your smart tv to shame', in my opinion it does way less than a smart tv can do nowadays, at least my smart tv and even blu ray player has ITV HUB, DEMAND 5, 4OD, BT Sport, Netflix and so on, and they all work all the time, sure there are a couple on the kodi platform (thats when they are working).
A lot of the current addons available for kodi are not of much interest to the general user, unfortunately most people want the mainstream addons that are available in the UK, and while i know its very hard or impossible to do so, you can see why people want these.
I miss the days of getting all the addons mentioned above on my kodi, and while i still use kodi as it is intended for my library playback, its not used as much as it was...and that is echoed in fellow kodi users who themselves have even got rid completely of kodi and moved to android addons, which i dont get why android addons still seem to go unnoticed but soon as a addon gets relesed on kodi , the suits seem to jump on kodi and request a takedown, as is the case with the recent BT Sports addon, its just really annoying.
Overall, i will continue to use Kodi, as its core feature , i can't fault it, it is a good piece of software....and for that i Thank you all for the time you put into it.
i just hope in the future things change that will allow Kodi to stretch further to be able to include more readily available addons.
