Non-existent control 1 error - help

Hi, I am new to Kodi and not very tech savvy. I have followed all the tu tube clips to get the NBA on kodi but sadly have come up with the error that reads: EXCEPTION: Non-Existent Control 1. Can anyone please explain this to me? and what I might need to do from here.
