Hello folks,
I have made a video addon for the video site Ign (http://www.ign.com). Thanks to AddonScriptorDE for the initial work on it.

It's available as a video addon in the official kodi repo. So you can install it as a video addon: HOW-TO:Install_add-ons (wiki)
If you got problems with the addon, just reply here with a link to a kodi log file (here are the instructions to make a logfile with kodi: http://kodi.wiki/view/Log_file/Easy ).

I've kept with the new codes but lately it keeps asking me for it after every single action. I used to enter it once and be done but now I cant change the channel without entering the "kod". Can anyone help?

v16 - Want Kodi 16.1 to use DVD player insteat of default wrapper in movies.

When going to Video or movies when selecting play nothing happens. When I go to use player it shows use default wrapper then below use dvd player. I select DVD player and it plays most movies but I still have problems with some Movies not playing correctly jitter slow etc. Then I need to use my boxes dvd player to watch them. How can I make DVD player the default? I had it working one time but forgot how I did it. I am using an a400 KDlinks box.

Is it Kodi OK to make an addon for using my public library video streaming service?
My public library has recently offered streaming of videos.
There is a registration process which includes a library account number etc.
But there is no other charge for viewing (beyond our municipal taxes).
There are time limits within which you can view the stream.
And there are limits on how many videos you can watch in a month.
But they take care of the DRM aspects (similarly to the way they do for ebooks)
In essence it's like the USTVNOW addon.
So if this meets with Kodi addon policy I would attempt to do it for my RPi2.

NRK Nett-TV Error Check the log for more information
I have been able to watch NRK Nett-TV using the Kodi add-on up until a few days ago.
From a few days ago I get the following message in Kodi "NRK Nett-TV Error Check the log for more information". Same message occurs on both Raspberry Pi and Windows 10 PC running Kodi.
I have no problem watching NRK Nett-TV using a web browser on Windows 10 and Android.
As the problem occurs on more than one Kodi install, does this mean that the add-on is broken?

Bug - GLARAB HD down?
Hello,
Sorry if this has been posted before. I'm running Kodi on Linux and choosing GLArab HD says that it failed to play the stream. It worked before. I have succesfully activated the GLARAB code on the website but the issue is still there.

Solved - Openelec: strange issue with headers and proxy
Hello everyone,
I was trying to understand why the addon "rivedila7" (to watch italian channe la7) did not work for me on openelec and I encountered what might be two separate but related problems. These would be about the system proxy settings of openelec and how xmbc player http headers are set.
In fact, trying to debug rivediLA7 plugin, I enabled debug log, and I could see, together with "403 - Forbidden" status codes, an error about a missing CRLF after HTTP headers (which were NOT set in the request).
I tried many times to reproduce the issue on my pc with no luck (always 200 - OK response code).
So I thougth of setting my laptop as a proxy in Openelec: magically the live video started working! - but no data was coming into my pc set up as a proxy. I also tried setting a non-existent ip on my subnet as proxy : it still works!
Therefore, with no further investigation, I thought the real bugs might be system-wide and not related to the plugin itself - but I'd need more investigation to confirm this hypotesis.
Does anybody know better about this?

Is there anyone who's able to watch all of the contents from PBS ThinkTV? It looks like some of the Episodes folders (under the Drama category) are either empty or there are previews only, but not the full episodes. I'm new to Kodi, so please be kind.

MLB.TV not working on Andoird TV and WIN10
I get the same error message at the same location in the MLB add-on on Android TV and Win10 to check the log file (MLB error kodi log file). None of the MLB streams work.

Any automatic video trailer (Netflix style) add-ons exist?
Hey guys,
Searched the forums and couldn't see any mention of an add-on that will automatically play a movie trailer when browsing through the library, similar to Netflix.
For example:
* Browse to a movie in the library
* Show fan-art for configured amount of time (say 5 seconds) - maybe it only works in certain views
* Start playing trailer in the background keeping the menu on-screen
* Browse to next movie the trailer stops
Does something like this exist, if not i might have a play around.

Addons not working - script.module.dateutil errors
Hi, just joined to get some help after spending a very long time trying to fix this issue but without any luck.
New android w95 box, kodi 17.3 installed.
Kodi system Add-on repository 2.5.10 doesn't work says "could not connect to repository"
I can download add ons such as youtube, cnn, usa catch up, etc and can update addons but no addons work at all. Every time a box at the top right appears and when I check the log it says for addons tried "The dependency on script.module.dateutil version 0.0.0 could not be satisfied" or "failed to install a dependency".
I've got git browser installed and can download repositories but again when I try to run any of them an error box shows at top right. As a media player it works very well, the add-on side is an absolute non-starter.
At a guess I think something is missing that cannot be downloaded or something needs re-directed. Any information would be appreciated to solve this.

It loads, it goes to the categories, say movie billboards. It show the categories, again say comedy. choose hold that ghost, or anything for that matter, classic cinema error, check the log for more information. Playback failed, One or more items failed to play.Check the log for more information about this error.
